🎓 EAUED HAS RELEASED ANOTHER ADMISSION BATCH
Emmanuel Alayande University of Education, Oyo (EAUED) has released another batch of its 2026/2027 admission offers.
The newly released admissions include:
🎓 Direct Entry Admission
🎓 UTME Second Batch Admission
Candidates who applied should log in to the official EAUED admission portal and check their status.
✅ If You Have Been Admitted
Candidates offered admission should:
1. Check their EAUED admission status.
2. Accept the admission on JAMB CAPS.
3. Print their Original JAMB Admission Letter.
4. Complete the university's acceptance process.
5. Pay the required acceptance fee.
6. Proceed for the required physical screening.
⚠️ Seeing an offer on only one platform does not necessarily mean the entire process is complete. Candidates should follow both the university and JAMB procedures.
---
📥 ADMISSION MOVEMENT IS INCREASING
The 2026/2027 admission cycle is entering another important stage, with more institutions moving candidates through JAMB CAPS.
Candidates should therefore make regular checks part of their admission routine.
🔴 LAUTECH
Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) has begun uploading 2026/2027 admission names to JAMB CAPS in batches.
Because the uploading process is staggered, not seeing your name immediately does not necessarily mean the admission process is over.
Candidates should:
✅ Check CAPS regularly
✅ Ensure their O'Level results are uploaded
✅ Confirm that their personal information is correct
✅ Monitor the LAUTECH admission portal
---
🎓 YABATECH CANDIDATES SHOULD KEEP CHECKING
Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH) is also actively processing its 2026/2027 admissions.
The institution's official portal currently provides services for:
✅ Admission-status checking
✅ 2026/2027 Post-UTME result checking
✅ Programme cut-off information
✅ Application and screening services
Candidates should continue monitoring both the YABATECH portal and JAMB CAPS for updates.
---
🎯 FULOKOJA ADMISSION PROCESS MOVES TO CAPS
The Federal University Lokoja (FULOKOJA) has an approved timetable for the 2026/2027 admission process.
Key dates include:
| Date | Admission Activity |
|---|---|
| September 29, 2026 | Central Admissions Committee considers undergraduate admission recommendations |
| October 5, 2026 | Admission recommendations forwarded to JAMB through CAPS |
| October 26, 2026 | Fresh-student registration portal opens |
| November 2, 2026 | Fresh students resume |
FULOKOJA candidates should therefore pay close attention to JAMB CAPS from October 5 onward.
---
🟡 JAMB CAPS IS BACK AND ADMISSION PROCESSING CONTINUES
JAMB's Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) has been restored following the recent temporary disruption.
Institutions have been encouraged to accelerate admission processing, while candidates have been advised to promptly act on admission offers when they appear.
📅 2026/2027 Admission Completion Timelines
| Institution Type | Deadline |
|---|---:|
| 🔴 Public Universities | October 31, 2026 |
| 🟠 Private Universities | November 30, 2026 |
| 🟢 Other Tertiary Institutions | December 31, 2026 |
Candidates who had been waiting for their O'Level results should also upload or verify their results now that the 2026 NECO results have been released.
---
📊 JAMB CAPS ADMISSION NUMBERS ARE MOVING
The JAMB CAPS dashboard is already showing activity in the 2026/2027 admission cycle.
Admission processing is moving through different stages, including:
- Institution recommendations
- Desk-officer processing
- Admissions approved for candidates
- Admissions accepted by candidates
📌 This is another reason candidates should not rely on a single CAPS check.
Institutions can upload recommendations in batches, so admission statuses may change at different times.
---
📚 NECO RESULTS ARE NOW AN O'LEVEL UPLOAD REMINDER
The 2026 NECO SSCE Internal results were released on September 24, 2026.
The results are therefore not a new announcement for today.
For candidates who previously used Awaiting Result, this is now the time to:
✅ Check your NECO result
✅ Upload it to JAMB CAPS where necessary
✅ Verify that the result is actually reflected
✅ Check your university admission portal
This is especially important as institutions continue processing 2026/2027 admissions.

🇳🇬 WAEC HAS A NEW REGISTRAR/CEO
There is also a fresh development in the wider education sector.
Dr. Amos Josiah Dangut became the new Registrar and Chief Executive Officer of the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) on October 1, 2026.
He succeeds Alhaji Pateh Bah of The Gambia and will serve a five-year term running through September 2031.
Before becoming Registrar and CEO, Dangut served as the Head of WAEC's Nigeria National Office from October 2023 to September 2026.
---
🎓 COMMONWEALTH SCHOLARSHIPS ARE OPEN
Graduates and postgraduate applicants also have a major opportunity to consider.
Applications are currently open for the 2027/2028 Commonwealth Master's and PhD Scholarships.
📅 Deadline: Tuesday, October 20, 2026
⏰ 4:00 p.m. BST
The Commonwealth Scholarship Commission states that the scholarships are for study in the United Kingdom, with studies expected to begin in September/October 2027.
The available opportunities include:
🎓 Commonwealth Master's Scholarship
🎓 Commonwealth PhD Scholarship
Applications are submitted through the official Commonwealth Scholarship Commission application system.
📌 This opportunity is more relevant to graduates and postgraduate applicants than ordinary 2026/2027 UTME candidates, but it is important for students and graduates planning for further study.
---
🎓 EKSU SCREENING INFORMATION
Ekiti State University (EKSU) is conducting its 2026/2027 Post-UTME/Direct Entry screening exercise.
According to the screening information:
✅ There is no written Post-UTME examination.
✅ Candidates are screened based on their submitted credentials.
✅ Candidates who scored 150 and above and did not originally choose EKSU may change their first choice to EKSU through JAMB.
✅ Awaiting-result candidates were allowed to participate under the university's stated conditions.
⚠️ EKSU has also provided programme-specific UTME thresholds, so candidates should check the requirement for their particular course rather than relying only on the general 150 score.
---
📚 O'LEVEL RESULTS ARE NOW MORE IMPORTANT
As admission processing moves deeper into the 2026/2027 cycle, candidates should make sure their academic credentials are complete and correctly uploaded.
Check your:
📌 WAEC result
📌 NECO result
📌 NABTEB result
📌 JAMB CAPS
If your result has already been released but is not showing correctly on CAPS, do not leave the issue until the last minute.
A candidate may have the required UTME score and still experience admission-processing problems if required credentials are missing or incorrectly uploaded.

⚠️ Do not pay anyone who promises to guarantee JAMB admission.
⚠️ Nobody can legitimately “upgrade” your CAPS admission in exchange for a private payment.
⚠️ Do not send your JAMB password, OTP or sensitive login details to strangers.
⚠️ Before paying for any application or screening, verify that you are using the official university portal.
📌 CampusAI will continue to distinguish between official announcements and unverified claims.
