FULOKOJA candidates should start checking JAMB CAPS
Candidates seeking admission into the Federal University Lokoja for the 2026/2027 academic session should pay close attention to JAMB CAPS this week.
The university’s official Central Admissions Committee schedule fixed Monday, October 5, 2026 as the date for forwarding 2026 admission recommendations to JAMB through CAPS. Because the schedule is a planned institutional milestone, it does not mean that every candidate’s admission status must already have changed. Recommendations may appear in stages after institutional processing and JAMB updates.
Candidates should therefore check both the FULOKOJA admission channels and their JAMB CAPS profiles regularly.

In a notice published on May 27, 2026, the Federal University Lokoja Central Admissions Committee listed the following stages for the 2026/2027 admission exercise:

The university’s notice is a schedule of events, not an individual admission offer. Candidates must wait for their personal status to appear on the appropriate official platform.

How to check FULOKOJA admission status through JAMB CAPS
1. Visit the official JAMB e-Facility portal.
2. Log in with the email address and password connected to your JAMB profile.
3. Select Check Admission Status.
4. Open Access my CAPS.
5. Select Admission Status.
6. Review the status shown on the page.
7. If you receive an admission offer, read the course and institution carefully before selecting Accept or Reject.
Candidates should not pay anyone to “activate” CAPS or manually upload an admission offer. JAMB CAPS updates are processed through the official admission system.
What the possible CAPS messages mean
Admission status is showing “Not Admitted”
This does not necessarily mean that the admission exercise is over. FULOKOJA’s scheduled CAPS-forwarding date is a processing milestone, and institutions may still send recommendations or JAMB may still process them in stages.
Keep checking the portal and confirm that your JAMB details, O’Level result and programme information are correct.
CAPS is showing “Admission in Progress”
This usually means that an admission decision is being processed. Continue monitoring the account and do not reject an offer because the status has not yet changed to “Admitted.”
