JAMB Clarifies 2026 UTME Registration Rules for Current Undergraduates

"JAMB confirms that students currently enrolled in tertiary institutions are eligible to register for the 2026 UTME provided they disclose their status."

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has clarified that candidates enrolled in tertiary institutions are allowed to register for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). However, the Board emphasized that failure to mandatorily disclose existing matriculation status at the point of registration is an offence that could lead to the forfeiture of both previous and new admissions.
