JAMB Clarifies Status of Underage Candidates
"JAMB has clarified that results for underage candidates are being withheld pending further evaluation."
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has addressed concerns regarding “No Result Yet” notifications for some 2026 UTME candidates. Spokesperson Fabian Benjamin confirmed that results for candidates below the age of 16 are being withheld in compliance with admission regulations. However, an exception exists for candidates who demonstrate extraordinary academic ability by scoring 320 or above, who will be invited for further screening processes for potential admission consideration.
