The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) successfully convened its 2026/2027 Policy Meeting on May 11, 2026. During this pivotal gathering, the board solidified guidelines that will govern how students enter universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education. Furthermore, the board reaffirmed the age-limit policy, strictly maintaining that candidates must be at least 16 years old to qualify for admission into any tertiary institution in Nigeria. The meeting also highlighted the successful administration of the Computer-Based Test (CBT) across 989 centers nationwide, catering to over 2.2 million candidates.
