"The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has updated its e-facility portal instructions, advising 2026 UTME and DE candidates on safe authentication."
JAMB Releases Fresh E-facility Portal Login Guidelines
In a bid to curb cyber threats and prevent unauthorized access to candidate profiles, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released updated login instructions for its e-facility portal. The portal, which serves as the primary hub for checking admission status, printing UTME result slips, and purchasing PINs, is now protected by enhanced authentication measures.
Candidates are advised to use only official channels and personal computers or authorized CBT centers when accessing their profiles to protect their personal data.
Resolving Common Profile Login Errors
Many candidates encounter errors such as "Invalid Email or Password" when trying to access the e-facility portal. JAMB has stated that this is usually due to incorrect registration details or typing mistakes during the login process. Candidates who have forgotten their passwords can utilize the official "Click here to reset" link on the portal page.
Furthermore, Direct Entry (DE) candidates seeking to purchase PINs must follow the validated secure gateway links to avoid purchasing invalid registration pins from unauthorized merchants.
Direct Entry (DE) PIN and UTME Updates
Under the new guidelines, Direct Entry candidates must complete their physical verification profiles at accredited JAMB CBT offices before their profiles can be fully activated on the e-facility portal. This check is necessary to eliminate fraudulent academic credentials and maintain the integrity of direct admissions into 200-level university programs.
Candidates are reminded to ensure they do not disclose their secret login passwords or security questions to anyone, including cafe operators.
