JAMB Warns 2026 Candidates Against Multiple NINs and False Information
"JAMB Registrar warns that candidates caught using multiple NINs or providing false biodata during registration face a three-year ban and possible prosecution."
As the 2026 UTME registration enters its final weeks, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has issued a stern warning against registration infractions. Registrar Prof. Ishaq Oloyede stated that any candidate found using multiple National Identification Numbers (NINs) to manipulate the system or providing false information will be barred from the examination for up to three years. Furthermore, the board revealed it is collaborating with security agencies, including the EFCC and the Nigerian Police, to prosecute individuals and CBT centers involved in identity theft or biometric manipulation during the exercise.
