JAMB retains 150 cut-off mark for varsities, exempts NCE candidates from UTME
"JAMB and stakeholders have set 150 as the minimum cut-off mark for admission into Nigerian universities for the 2026/2027 academic session."
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, alongside tertiary institution heads, fixed 150 as the minimum admissible score for universities, while polytechnics and monotechnics were fixed at 100. NCE candidates are exempted from the UTME exercise.
