JAMB Standardizes Minimum Cut-off for Polytechnics and Nursing Colleges at 100 and 150

Following the 2026 Policy Meeting, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has announced the harmonized cut-off marks for polytechnics and colleges of nursing. For the upcoming academic session, the minimum admissible score for entry into polytechnics has been set at 100, while colleges of nursing will maintain a benchmark of 150. These scores represent the minimum standard agreed upon by the heads of tertiary institutions across the country, aiming to create a uniform regulatory framework for admission.
While these benchmarks provide a baseline, institutions retain the right to set higher cut-off points based on their internal capacity and the volume of applications they receive.
