JAMB Summons 94 Candidates and 43 Institutions Over Registration Fraud
"JAMB has initiated a crackdown on examination malpractice, summoning 94 candidates and 43 institutions regarding registration fraud and fake Direct Entry certificates."
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has ordered 94 candidates and 43 tertiary institutions to appear before virtual investigative panels. The candidates are accused of soliciting or paying for illicit assistance during the 2026 UTME registration, while the institutions are under scrutiny for issues related to 2,638 Direct Entry results flagged as fake or unverifiable. Failure to attend these sessions will be treated as an admission of guilt.
