Osun State University (UNIOSUN), a leading state-owned university in Nigeria, has officially announced the commencement of its 2026/2027 Post-UTME screening exercise. This initiative is designed to facilitate the admission of eligible candidates into the institution’s undergraduate programmes.
Eligibility Requirements:
To be eligible for the UNIOSUN Post-UTME screening, candidates must meet the following criteria:
1. Institution of First Choice: UNIOSUN must be the candidate’s first-choice institution. Alternatively, candidates who did not initially select UNIOSUN as their first choice must successfully complete a change of institution to UNIOSUN on the JAMB portal before the application window closes.
2. Minimum UTME Score: Candidates must have obtained a minimum score of 160 in the 2026 UTME.
Important Notes:
- Candidates who scored less than 200 marks will not be considered for admission into Law, Nursing, Medicine (on hold for the 2026/2027 academic session), and Islamic Law. However, candidates who chose any of these courses but scored less than the prescribed marks can change to any other relevant programme of their choice.
Registration Process:
Payments of ₦3,000.00 as the Portal Access Fee and ₦2,000.00 for the Post-UTME Screening must be made through the Remita Web PAY Platform using ATM Cards (Master Card, Verve Card, and Interswitch-enabled Cards).
Submission Deadline:
The submission of forms closes at 12:00 PM on Thursday, September 17, 2026.
Central Admission Processing System (CAPS):
The 2026/2027 Admission Exercise will be based on the Central Admission Processing System (CAPS), a system designed by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) to automate the admissions process to tertiary institutions. All candidates are advised to upload their O’Level results to the JAMB CAPS portal as a pre-condition for admission.
Medical Examination:
All candidates who eventually get admitted will undergo mandatory medical examination, which includes screening for drug use.
