the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) has officially commenced its Post-UTME screening registration for the 2026/2027 academic session .
Registration Period: The online registration portal opened on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, and will close at midnight on Wednesday, August 5, 2026 . Late applications will not be accepted.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible, candidates must meet the following criteria:
· First Choice Institution: You must have selected UNN as your first-choice institution in the 2026 UTME .
· Minimum UTME Score: You must have scored 160 or above in the 2026 UTME . However, competitive courses like Medicine, Law, and Pharmacy may require higher scores for consideration .
· Age Requirement: You must be at least 16 years old by September 30, 2026 .
· O'Level Results: You must possess at least five (5) credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings . Important: The names on your WAEC/NECO results must exactly match your JAMB registration details .
· Awaiting Results: Candidates who are awaiting the release of their O'Level results may apply. However, candidates waiting to write the November/December 2026 GCE or NECO exams are not eligible .

Payment is made via Remita at any commercial bank or online using an ATM card through the UNN portal .
How to Apply
Follow the steps below to complete your registration:
1. Visit the UNN official website at unn.edu.ng .
2. Click on the UNN Portal (top right corner) .
3. Select Prospective Students .
4. Choose Online Application Form for 2026/2027 Admission Screening Exercise .
5. Enter your JAMB Registration Number .
6. Click Generate Invoice .
7. Proceed to pay the ₦5,300 fee through Remita or online .
8. Return to the portal and complete your bio-data and O'Level details .
9. Upload all required documents (Birth Certificate, Local Government Identification, JAMB Result Slip, O'Level Results, etc.). Note: Each uploaded file must not exceed 100KB .
10. Review your application summary carefully, confirm, and submit .
11. Print your Acknowledgement Slip .
Important Notes
· O'Level Upload Requirement: You must upload your O'Level results on both JAMB CAPS and the UNN portal on or before August 5, 2026 . Failure to do this will disqualify you from admission consideration.
· Direct Entry Candidates: Direct Entry candidates who chose UNN as their first choice must also register for the screening. Their A'Level results must be verified by NIPEDS before registration .
